Blaze Kenya digital out-of-home projection at Kencom Building along Moi Avenue, Nairobi.
Telecommunications giant Safaricom has today launched a new youth targeted platform dubbed Blaze Kenya by treating Nairobians to yet another unique storytelling paradigm.
Blaze Kenya launched 360 video –  a system that simultaneously records all 360 degrees of a scene has now put up digital out-of-home projections in the CBD, Kencom and Trust Bank buildings.
The projections portraying powerful, yet emotional stories of youth braving the odds in Africa will be placed in distinct locations in Nairobi from 6pm to 12 midnight.
The company aims at applying technology to tell inspiring stories of young Africans who have embarked on the ‘path not taken’ while, offering an exciting one-of-a-kind experience to the audience.
With a specific emphasis on young people who have risen beyond critics, Blaze Kenya seeks to showcase individual inspiring journeys and passion that give the world hope using the innovative Digital out-of-home (DOOH) media platform.
“Blaze by Safaricom is a Youth Platform that is built to offer youth between 10-26 years an opportunity to make a plan for their life so that they can move ahead and Be Their Own Bosses,” reads a description on the new platforms website.
Blaze Kenya will officially launch 5pm today ahead of the unveiling of the projections that for six hours will exhibit untold stories of Kenya’s ‘Silent Heroes’.
